It's actually a pad of card stock book marks- 25 in each package with room to write your notes and thoughts!! (5.00 each) I loved them so I bought two!!

I'm feeling so happy today, maybe because the sun is shining, maybe because I know how truly lucky I am.

What was in your mailbox today?

p.s. my new IMM graphic was designed by the amazing GREADS. Thank you <3

Becca Fitzpatrick & Elizabeth Miles

I drove like a crazy woman to make this event on time and I'm so glad that I did. I was a bit shocked at the turnout- there was no seating left when I arrived and a secondary line had started 2 hours before I even got there. The event was at 7 and apparently there were some people who had been there since 3 that afternoon.

I love the feeling in the air at a book event. The excitement, everyone sharing their love for the same thing.

It wasn't long too wait before I the authors came out, and it was at that time that my camera decided to go nuts. I could sometimes take a picture and sometimes not... My friend has all the pics I had taken with Elizabeth Miles on her phone, so as soon as she sends them to me, I'll post them here.
I also took some video footage below that you can also watch over at the Ontario Blog Squad Blog.

Elizabeth Miles author of Fury was fabulous! She was funny and you could tell how thrilled she was to be at the event. I truly adore her, and totally lost all ability to speak intelligently when I went up to meet her.

Maggie Stiefvater Event

Yay for author events and book signings! This has got to be one of my favourite things to do. There is nothing like hearing an author talk about their books and having the chance to meet them.

This past Sunday I went to an event for Wolves of Mercy Falls Series author
Maggie Stiefvater and it was so much fun! Here are a few pictures:

The Stage awaits, in the far right you can see the guitar they were giving away. (I did not win) :(
Two Fabulous Bloggers I happened to meet : K.C.Graham from http://kc-graham.livejournal.com/
and the lovely Avery from http://averysbooknook.blogspot.com/

MAGGIE!
She was everything I'd hoped she would be and more.
I especially loved hearing about her real life wolves encounter in Budapest.
Maggie and Me
My friend Jessie and I, this was her very first author signing.
Maggie's amazing car.........

. . .love the plates

Dystopian Tour

What's a girl to do when Thursday night rolls around and there is no Vampire Diaries on TV?

How about head to a book store for an amazing event and meet Lauren Oliver & Veronica Roth?

Divergent and Delirium have been the two books that have stood out this year amongst all the others I've read. Exceptional reads! I loved the q & a portion, I can't believe how eloquent, intelligent and at ease they were. It was a really wonderful night! (even if there was no Damon on TV:)
Thanks to Harper Collins and Chapters/Indigo for hosting!

Did I Mention?

how unbelievably excited I am?

Want to know why???????

The authors of these two fantastic books (my favourite reads of the year) are doing a signing near me this week...

(Click here and here to see my reviews....)

I just hope I don't blubber like an idiot. I remember when I met Stephenie Meyer at a signing of Eclipse and I just stood there going on, and on and on like some lunatic. So....Lauren Oliver and Veronica Roth-
I apologize in advance -
I just get a bit awe-struck when I meet amazing people who have
 huge amounts of talent. :)
