In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. Each week we highlight the books we've received. This week was a huge week in the way of books for me so I decided to try doing a vlog. So 6 hours of tried and failed uploading, reformatting and tears of frustration (I'm not kidding by the way 6 hrs!) here it is. My goal is that next week the vlog will only take me 3 hrs. (sigh)
Books mentioned:
For Review:
A huge thank you to my book fairies from Harper, Scholastic and Simon & Schuster
What was in your mailbox?
Oh. My. God. You weren't kidding when you said this week's IMM was EPIC!! You got The Beginning of After and Supernaturally?!?!?!?!?! I'm DYING to read those books!! I'm so excited for them!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy all your new books! It sucks that it took so long to get your vlog up but you did a great job!! I'll be looking forward to part 2 of the amazingness!! Happy Reading! :)
I totally believe you when you say it took you 6 hours. I've been trying to do a few videos lately and I actually did end up in tears the first time!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about Big Nate. My nephew apparently loves Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I'll have to let my sister know about this one.
Here's my first *real* IMM vlog this week: http://oneadayya.blogspot.com/2011/05/in-my-mailbox-vlog-1.html
Wow, those are epic! Forbidden really caught my eye cover-wise, but I am not sure at all I would like to read about that particular controversy. Cold Kiss looks like a book to add to my wishlist because I really liked Shiver! Eve sounds like my type of book. I love dystopian, and anything like Hunger Games is bound to be a good book!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books, have a good week, and, if you could, comment on my IMM post? I find myself curious of what you'd think of the books in my mailbox. It's ok if you can't. URL's below just in case because hyperlinks hate me lol.

Oh man. 6 hours. You are dedicated (or just stubborn, haha, which would probably be true in my case). Horror stories like that make me not ever want to vlog, because I'd totally be screaming at my computer and crying. Yahhhh, good times. :/
ReplyDeleteI must say I'm pretty jealous of 'Supernaturally'! I only recently read 'Paranormalcy' but I thought it was pretty darn great. Very epic books this week! =)
Congratulations on your first vlog!
