Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee's View.
This week's question:
What makes up your non-human family?
We have a dog named Blue and a Bird (parakeet) named Sumi.
The Blog Hop is hosted by Crazy-for-Books. This week's question:
Why do you read the genre you do? What draws you to it?
I've always been drawn to the fantasy and science fiction genre. I enjoy contemporary and historical fiction as well, but not as much as fantasy and sci-fi. I love the quests. The few destined to save the many. The ability to overcome unimaginable evil, and the fact that anything is possible.
What about you? Make sure you leave me a link so I can visit you too!
Fantasy for me too! Especially YA fantasy. The Hunger Games is on my to-read list. P.S. I work in a library too. For the most part, I love it.
ReplyDeleteI stopped by from the Hop. I love cozy mysteries.

I'm with you-- fantasy, supernatural and sci-fi are the genre's I love the most. I don't usually read high fantasy, but love fantastical elements in novels like Grimm Legacy and Knightley Academy!
ReplyDeleteHi! Saw your blog on the Blog Hop and loved the name so thought I would stop by!! I, too, work in a library and often feel like I'm being buried by (great) books! Right now I have almost 100 (mostly YA) books out on my card. If you like sci fi, I just finished reading Across the Universe by Beth Revis last night before I went to sleep and woke up thinking about it! I haven't had a book like that in ages! Stop by and check out my blog if you get a chance! Happy Saturday!
ReplyDeleteHopping through. I've never been much of a sci fi but I increasingly love fantasy - both urban and high fantasy.
